However, the current research mostly focuses on a specific factor, which makes the existing conclusions too absolute and flawed. Therefore, the typical lightweight wall was taken as the research object in this paper, ascertained the basic scientific problem of the influence laws and suitability of different PCM parameters on the thermal performance of lightweight walls under different thermal boundaries through theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, and experiment. Meanwhile, evaluated the energy-saving potential of PCM lightweight wall and its economic feasibility in different climates/cities.
