The first chapter is an introduction to the overall research framework. The second chapter discusses bibliometric analysis to find gaps in problems related to research topics. The third chapter discusses solid waste management practices in coastal settlements with primary survey analysis. In chapter four, a visual survey of detection objects is carried out to count and analyze beach waste. Chapter five uses aerial mapping to detect macroplastic waste using UAVs in canals and uses Kernel-Density-Analysis to assess the distribution of macroplastics based on season.
