| 内容記述 | As China faces rapid population aging, the link between residential environments and older adults’ health is increasingly critical. This dissertation, grounded in the healthy aging framework, draws on four empirical studies using national datasets and surveys. Findings show older adults prefer aging in place, value safety, accessibility, and social connectedness, and that environmental factors significantly shape depression and cognition. Moreover, social support mediates the benefits of participation on mental health. Together, the studies offer a multidimensional perspective, providing evidence for age-friendly housing, community-based care, and integrated policies that promote sustainable, inclusive, and health-enhancing environments. | |||||||
