| 内容記述 | As the global economy grows, residents are increasingly demanding greater comfort in their living environments, leading to higher energy consumption in buildings. Indoor temperature is a critical factor in home comfort. Understanding local thermal comfort needs can inform the design of residential buildings and HVAC systems, avoiding excessive energy use. This study examines the climate adaptability of detached houses in Kitakyushu, Japan. Simulations and field measurements—including thermal environment surveys and questionnaires in winter and summer—were conducted in five homes. A new adaptive thermal comfort model was proposed and compared with existing standards (ASHRAE 55 and Japanese models) to assess energy-saving potential. Using parametric simulations and genetic algorithms, 14 building envelope parameters were optimized to balance energy demand and comfort. The study explores strategies for reducing energy use while improving indoor thermal environments. | |||||
