The occurrence and fate of these contaminants is an important environmental and public health concern. Therefore, the removal of heavy metals from water is a critical challenge that needs to be solved. Beside of these metals, lithium (Li) is known as energy metals, which has surging demands due to increase in the utilization of lithium-ion batteries and other applications. Li is a comparatively rare element, although it is found in many rocks and some brines. Since these concentrations of Li is frequently low, Li is required to concentrate.
