The implementation performance of different support policies on PV market growth and PV product cost reduction were examined through a technological learning approach. Following that, residential PV systems and large-scale PV plants in four countries were modeled in the context of current policies. After that, based on the results of the technological learning analysis and techno-economic analysis, the technical and economic performance of PV energy in the four countries was compared.
