| 内容記述 | This study primarily focuses on waste management and waste to-energy research in developing countries, using the case of Makassar City, Indonesia. The first chapter explains the background, objectives, and methodological framework. The second chapter discusses the literature review on waste management and waste-to-energy in developing countries using bibliometric analysis. The third chapter presents the waste management situation in Makassar City, Indonesia. The fourth chapter is about analysis energy recovery potential from waste excavated in landfill. The fifth chapter is about life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to analyze the environmental impact of emerging global warming from the biological treatment scenario of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) in Makassar. The scenarios were examined: Business as Usual, Landfill, Composting, and Anaerobic Digestion. The sixth chapter focuses on the environmental impact of various scenarios on waste-to-energy potential using life cycle assessment (LCA). This scenario consists of composting, incineration, and landfill gas. | |||||||
